PUC Community Charter Middle School was founded in 1999 by Dr. Jacqueline Elliot with 100 families who desperately sought a better public middle school option for their community. The school was the first start-up charter school ever opened in the San Fernando Valley, is California Distinguished, WASC Accredited and serves grades 6 through 8. The goal of PUC Community Charter Middle School is to prepare and motivate all students for high school and eventual college graduation. Through total devotion to students, small class sizes, extensive exposure to the arts, personalized and nurturing assistance, and a rich after school program, the faculty has made great strides towards achieving this goal. PUC Community Charter Middle School consistently demonstrates high academic achievement and a culture of mutual respect. Several of our former PUC Community Charter Middle School students who are now college graduates have now returned as PUC teachers.
Incredible core curriculum, so many clubs, one-on-one college counseling, variety of sports, the best teachers who only want the best for all their students. I can't wait to take in college and apply what I've learned from here. Forever grateful!
